Our client in Germiston is looking for a reliable, motivated, and hardworking Junior Driver / Store Assistant to join their team.

In this role you will assist with deliveries, stock handling, and maintaining an organized store environment while providing excellent customer service.
Duties & Responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12 (Matric)

Valid driver’s licence (Code B or equivalent)

Previous driving or warehouse/store experience is advantageous but not essential

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Basic numerical and record-keeping skills

Physically fit and able to lift and move stock safely

Honest, dependable, and punctual

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to work overtime when required

Clean driving record will be an advantage

DUTIES

Deliver and collect goods safely and on time.

Load, unload, and transport stock with care.

Assist with receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock.

Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.

Keep the store and warehouse clean, organized, and safe.

Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.

Ensure delivery documentation is completed accurately.

Assist with stock counts and inventory control.

Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.

Provide courteous and professional service to customers and colleagues.

Perform other general store or warehouse duties as required.
