Introduction
Our mining client is seeking responsible and safety-conscious Bus Drivers to provide employee transport between designated collection points at their operations. The successful candidates will ensure the safe and punctual transportation of employees during shift changes, lunch breaks and fatigue breaks while maintaining compliance with all mine safety and traffic regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Safely transport employees at the operations.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Ensure buses are operated in accordance with all mine safety procedures and road traffic regulations.

Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of assigned vehicles.

Accurately complete vehicle inspection and logbook documentation.

Report vehicle defects, incidents, near misses or unsafe conditions immediately.

Ensure employees are transported safely and efficiently according to operational schedules.

Park vehicles in designated areas when not in use.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Grade 12 or equivalent.

Valid Code 10 or Code 14 Driver’s Licence.

Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).

Minimum 2 years’ driving experience operating passenger transport vehicles.

Good understanding of road safety and mine safety requirements.

Medically fit and able to obtain/maintain fitness for mine site access.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

No serious traffic offences or disciplinary record related to vehicle operation.

Previous mining experience.

Experience transporting employees in an industrial or mining environment.

First Aid certificate.
