Job Description
Role Overview
An established technology-driven organisation is seeking a Junior Support Agent to provide first-line support across its document management, process automation, and print management software environments. This role is ideal for a technically minded support professional who enjoys troubleshooting, working with multiple technologies, and assisting users in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 support and initial ticket triage
- Troubleshoot software, system, and user-related issues
- Assist with system maintenance and updates
- Support document management and workflow platforms
- Monitor and manage basic Windows services and server environments
- Log and maintain accurate support documentation and ticket updates
- Escalate complex technical issues where required
- Assist users with technical queries in a clear and professional manner
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical support or junior systems support role
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and above
- PostgreSQL experience advantageous
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with AI concepts and natural language prompts
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience working within Windows Server environments, including basic IIS management
- Experience supporting Windows desktop environments, services, and software packages
- Basic networking knowledge and understanding of network configurations
Advantageous Skills
- Basic API knowledge and understanding of system integrations
- Experience with Regular Expressions (RegEx)
- Exposure to document management and workflow technologies
- Experience working within MacOS environments
- Linux environment exposure, including managing services and applications
