Job Description

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**

· NQF Level 5, 6 or 7 qualification in Security Management, Management, Policing, Business Management or Law.

· Relevant qualifications may include a Higher Certificate or National Certificate in Security Management; National Certificate: Generic Management (Security); National Diploma in Security Management; Diploma in Policing; Diploma in Business Management; BTech Security Management; BA Police Science; BCom Management; or LLB.

· Valid PSIRA Grade A registration is required.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

· Assume full contract-level responsibility and accountability for the assigned contract, rather than shift-level supervision.

· Manage contractual service levels, KPIs and performance standards, including measurement, reporting and corrective action.

· Prepare monthly client reports, participate in review meetings and manage operational escalations.

· Plan officer deployment, maintain effective rosters and monitor staffing requirements.

· Manage discipline, labour relations and compliance with applicable security-sector requirements.

· Maintain accurate records of officer numbers deployed, contract value, duration and site performance.

· Ensure service delivery remains aligned with the contract scope and client expectations.

**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE**

· Proven responsibility for a named security contract.

· Experience in SLA and KPI management, client reporting, review meetings and escalation handling.

· Experience managing large-scale officer deployment, rosters, discipline and labour relations.

· Experience in high-security environments such as SEZs, IDZs, industrial parks, government buildings or national key points.

· A track record that clearly states contract values, contract duration and officer numbers deployed.

**KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES**

· Strong leadership, operational-management and client relationship-management ability.

· Sound knowledge of security operations, contractual compliance and performance management.

· Excellent reporting, administrative, problem-solving and escalation-management skills.

· Good understanding of deployment planning, discipline and labour relations.

· High levels of integrity, accountability and professionalism.

· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational priorities.

**REQUIRED SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS**

· Detailed, signed and dated CV.

· Certified copy of the relevant qualification.

· Valid PSIRA Grade A certificate.

· Certified copy of ID.

· Two contactable client references.

· Appointment letter or signed offer letter, where applicable.
