Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Supervisor / Manager to lead our quality team and ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of welding, pressure vessels, and quality control processes within a manufacturing environment.

Minimum Requirements

– Previous experience in a **Supervisory or Managerial** position leading a quality or production team.
– Strong background in **welding** (a completed welding trade/test would be advantageous).
– **Essential:** Previous experience working with **Pressure Vessels**.
– Experience working to recognised industry codes such as **ASME** and/or **EN Standards**.
– Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and quality documentation.
– High attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining quality standards.

Advantageous

– SAIW qualification (not essential but will be highly beneficial).

Key Responsibilities

– Lead and supervise the Quality Control team.
– Ensure all inspections comply with company and customer specifications.
– Monitor welding quality and fabrication processes.
– Ensure compliance with ASME, EN, and other applicable quality standards.
– Identify quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
– Liaise with production teams to maintain quality throughout the manufacturing process.
– Prepare quality reports and maintain inspection records.

Salary

– Up to **R38,000 per month** (Cost to Company), depending on qualifications, experience, and interview performance.
– Please note that **no overtime remuneration** is applicable.
