**Duties & Responsibilities**

**Technical Skills**

A comprehensive skill set in the holistic management of construction projects, including but not limited to:

– Creating construction programs using Excel
– Team coordination
– Project progress tracking using Excel and CCS
– Managing construction through the Invocom system
– Resourcing the job correctly with relation to required outputs
– Strong communication skills including with Clients and Consultants
– Time Management
– Skill Management
– Ability to identify, mitigate and manage areas of risk or potential risks
– Appointments and management of sub-contractors
– Site quality and safety management
– Ensure compliance with legal requirements, building and safety codes
– Implementation of safety standards across area of responsibility
– Implementation of environmental compliance across area of responsibility
– Understanding of site allowables and costing procedures

**Desired Experience & Qualification**

**Industry Experience**

Experience in all aspects of construction from contact planning and start until completion, with extensive expertise in high quality construction delivery.

Experienced in excellence in construction project delivery with the capability in complex construction environments.

Experience in working on and delivering commercial and residential projects to the value of atleast R400M or more.

Must be able to plan and set up staff and subcontractors to ensure areas are run in a safe and efficient manner, and delegate responsibilities in all areas appropriately.

**Work Experience**

20+ years in a Manager role – contract start until contract completion in residential, hotel and commercial industries with high quality, high end finishes is essential.

Strong track record in quality focused construction execution.
