JOB TITLE:                                     : Trade Marketing Coordinator

Key customers                              : Trade Marketing Manager, Brand & Merch team, Retail Ops, Wholesale Key Accounts, Marketing Operations

Main purpose                           : As a Trade Marketing Coordinator you will support the Trade Marketing Manager in executing trade marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives across retail and wholesale channels. This role ensures seamless implementation of POS, visual merchandising, promotions, and training, while maintaining brand consistency and supporting operational excellence across all touchpoints.

The Trade Marketing Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring that plans developed at a strategic level are effectively delivered in-store and across partner channels. This role is execution-focused, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY 1: TRADE MARKETING EXECUTION SUPPORT

  • Assist in the implementation of trade marketing strategies and seasonal plans.
  • Support campaign rollouts across retail and wholesale channels.
  • Track execution timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align deliverables.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY 2: RETAIL & WHOLESALE SUPPORT

  • Support communication with retail and wholesale partners.
  • Assist in coordinating in-store promotions and activations.
  • Ensure stores receive correct campaign materials and guidelines.
  • Monitor execution feedback from stores and partners.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY 3: POINT OF SALE (POS) CO-ORDINATION

  • Coordinate production, ordering, and distribution of POS materials.
  • Ensure POS materials are delivered on time and in full.
  • Track stock levels and reorders of POS assets.
  • Support adaptation of global POS for local market needs.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY 4: VISUAL MERCHANDISING (VM) SUPPORT

  • Assist in creation and implementation of VM guidelines across stores.
  • Distribute VM toolkits and campaign briefs to Marketing Ops teams.
  • Collect VM execution feedback and store images.
  • Support VM training coordination and communication.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY 5: PRODUCT TRAINING SUPPORT

  • Assist in developing and distributing training materials.
  • Coordinate training schedules with Marketing Operations.
  • Track training participation and completion.
  • Maintain training content libraries.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY 6: CONSUMER PROMOTIONS EXECUTION

  • Support rollout of promotions and incentive programs.
  • Coordinate timelines, materials, and communication for promotions.
  • Track execution across stores and partners.
  • Assist with post-promotion reporting.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY 7: MARKET & PERFORMANCE REPORTING

  • Collect and compile data on campaign performance.
  • Track competitor activity and in-store trends.
  • Support preparation of reports and presentations.
  • Maintain reporting templates and trackers.

  • Assist in planning and coordinating trade shows and events.
  • Support logistics, materials, and setup.
  • Ensure all branding and assets are prepared and delivered.
  • Capture event feedback and results.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY 9: ADMINISTRATION & BUDGET SUPPORT

  • Support budget tracking and PO management.
  • Maintain records of spend and invoices.
  • Assist in reconciling campaign costs.
  • Ensure documentation is up to date.

  • Liaise with Brand teams, Sales, and Marketing Operations teams.
  • Ensure smooth communication of campaign requirements.
  • Follow up on deliverables across departments.
  • Support alignment of timelines and outputs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, Retail Management, Communications or a related field

Experience

  • 2 – 4 years’ experience in a trade marketing, retail marketing, brand coordination or marketing execution role
  • Practical experience supporting campaign rollouts, promotions, POS execution or retail/wholesale activations
  • Exposure to working with retail and wholesale partners, store teams or sales teams
  • Hands‑on experience coordinating POS materials, timelines and campaign logistics
  • Experience supporting events, activations or product launches within a retail or wholesale environment

Industry Knowledge

  • Working understanding of trade marketing principles and how marketing strategies translate to in‑store execution
  • Knowledge of retail and wholesale environments, including store execution realities
  • Experience supporting POS, VM and promotional rollouts across multiple locations
  • Understanding of campaign calendars, promotions and seasonal launches
  • Ability to track and report on campaign execution, compliance and basic performance metrics
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with reports, trackers, timelines and documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel – intermediate, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across cross‑functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
