About the Role
As a Foreman Supervisor at VW Fourways, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and production targets within a workshop environment. This role focuses on supervising a team of technicians and ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
– Lead and supervise a team of technicians, managing performance to meet operational goals and service standards.
– Coordinate and oversee daily vehicle repair and maintenance tasks, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to company protocols.
– Monitor workflow and productivity, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
– Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies, cultivating a culture of safety awareness among team members.
– Provide training and support to team members, fostering skill development and effective communication.
– Conduct regular inspections of work areas and equipment to ensure proper maintenance and safety measures are in place.
– Liaise with management to report on team performance, productivity, and any personnel issues that arise.
– Assist in driving customer satisfaction by addressing client concerns promptly and effectively.

Requirements
– Proven track record of leadership in a workshop or manufacturing environment, with specific expertise in automotive repair.
– Strong understanding of vehicle systems and repair processes, with experience in managing workshop operations.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a diverse team.
– Demonstrable experience in maintaining workplace safety standards and implementing health and safety protocols.
– Problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
– Proficient in using workshop management software and related technology.

Preferred Qualifications
– Relevant trade certification or qualification in automotive engineering or a related field.
– Experience in a supervisory role within the automotive industry, especially with a reputable brand.
– Additional certifications in health and safety or management training.
