Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Financial Manager to direct, add value to, and enable business decisions through effective consolidated financial analysis, reporting and controls across a range of business functions or companies, in line with the business strategy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day asset maintenance activities to ensure critical banking assets remain available, reliable, safe and fit for purpose.
  • Maintain accurate asset records, registers and control information to support ownership, traceability, valuation, depreciation and lifecycle decision-making.
  • Enable financial performance against targets by identifying deviations and recommending corrective action or providing justification.
  • Ensure asset maintenance activities comply with Group policies, procurement requirements, regulatory obligations, health and safety standards, risk controls and audit expectations.
  • Partner with Finance, Procurement, Technology, Facilities, Risk, Compliance and business units to plan asset refresh, replacement, disposal and investment decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise asset lifecycle cost, improve maintenance productivity, standardise processes and reduce avoidable spend.
  • Provide timely reporting on asset condition, maintenance backlog, service levels, risk exposure, spend, exceptions and improvement initiatives.
  • Embed a client-centric and operationally resilient culture by ensuring asset maintenance supports branch, campus, data centre, ATM, workplace and business service requirements.
  • Build a capable, high-performing team by setting clear objectives, managing performance, developing technical capability and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Ensure business continuity by having processes and systems in place to support all activities.
  • Meet internal customer requirements to ensure adherence to service level agreements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders through regular engagement.
  • Mitigate financial risk by staying abreast of and aligning to changes in accounting standards, policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Plan, co-ordinate and manage team to achieve deliverables.
  • Enhance productivity by identifying, implementing and supporting process improvements.
