Introduction
Our client, based in the Northern suburbs of Cape Town, offers Accounting, Tax and Auditing services. They are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for specific outsourced accounting projects

Perform full accounting function including reconciliations, journals, and trial balances

Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports

Assist with VAT and tax submissions and general ledger maintenance

Communicate directly with clients on accounting and reporting matters

Support automation and system improvement initiatives within the accounting process

Desired Experience & Qualification

Completed SAICA, SAIPA, or CIMA Articles

Relevant BCom degree or equivalent; professional qualification advantageous

Minimum 1 year of post-articles experience pref

Experience with Xero accounting software beneficial

Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Xero add-ons, Zapier) is a plus

Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Positive and proactive ‘can-do’ attitude

Package & Remuneration
R25K – R35K per month + 13th cheque depending on qualification and experience
