Our esteemed client, within **Bloemfontein,** is seeking a reliable, results driven **IT Systems Administrator** to join their dynamic team!

**Requirements:**

– National Senior Certificate or equivalent to NQF4.
– 5 years of experience in an IT environment of which a minimum of 3 years as a System Administrator.
– **MCSA** and **CCNA** certification.
– **VMWARE** and **VEEAM** certification as well.
– Extensive server, virtualisation, backups and network experience.
– Valid RSA Driver’s License with own transport.

**Responsibilities:**

– Monitor, maintain, and optimise our on-premises servers, storage, and network infrastructure so that everything stays available, fast and aligned with business requirements.
– Manage network components (Firewalls, switches, routers and VPNs) and cloud resources a strong focus on security and compliance.
– Run proactive patch management, updates, and troubleshooting to prevent issues before they impact the business.
– Own backup, disaster recovery, and restore processes -including regular testing, to protect critical data and meet business opportunity and regulatory requirements.
– Apply cybersecurity controls, assist with vulnerability assessments, and respond to incidents in line with our established procedures and timelines.
– Act as the key escalation point above Tier 1 Support for complex infrastructure issues and manage secure user access, account provisioning, and onboarding/offboarding processes.
