About the iStore Elevate Graduate Programme
Are you a recent graduate looking to launch your career with one of South Africa’s most recognised retail and technology brands?
The iStore Elevate Graduate Programme is a 12-month paid development programme designed to identify, develop, and accelerate talented graduates who aspire to become future leaders within the iStore.
We are looking for 10 exceptional graduates from leading South African universities who are passionate about retail, technology, customer experience, and business operations.
Throughout the programme, you will gain hands-on experience through structured rotations across multiple areas of the iStore business, providing a comprehensive understanding of how a world-class retail organisation operates.
This is more than a graduate programme – it’s an opportunity to build the foundation for a long-term career and future leadership opportunities within iStore.
What You Will Experience
During the 12-month programme, you will rotate through various functions within the iStore, including:
- Retail Sales and Customer Experience
- Store Operations
- Business and Commercial Operations
- Training and Development
- Marketing and Brand Activation
- Inventory and Supply Chain Exposure
- Technical Support and Services
- Leadership and People Management
You will gain exposure to:
- The day-to-day operation of a high-performing retail business
- Delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Driving sales performance and business results
- Leadership and team management fundamentals
- Commercial decision-making
- Operational excellence and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking ambitious graduates who:
- Have completed a Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma in any field within the last three years
- Graduated from a recognised South African university
- Have a strong interest in retail, technology, hospitality and customer experience
- Demonstrate leadership potential and a willingness to learn
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Are energetic, driven, and customer-focused
- Thrive in fast-paced environments
- Have strong problem-solving and organisational abilities
- Are committed to completing the full 12-month programme
- Any work experience in retail or hospitality is a plus
Minimum Requirements
- Completed and passed National Senior Certificate
- Bachelor’s Degree completed within the last three years
- South African citizen
- Reside within the Gauteng municipal area
- Able to travel regularly to Sandton and other iStore locations as required
- Available to commence the programme full-time from the 1st of September 2026
- Willing to work retail hours when required, including weekends and public holidays during certain rotations
