Introduction
A well-established organisation in the industrial and distribution sector is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join its Head Office team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who enjoys identifying business risks, strengthening internal controls, and improving operational processes within a dynamic environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct operational, financial and compliance audits across multiple business units.

Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.

Review business processes to identify risks and enhance operational efficiency.

Perform branch, inventory and ad hoc audits.

Prepare comprehensive audit reports and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.

Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, irregularities and potential risks.

Assist with investigations and risk management initiatives.

Build strong working relationships while maintaining independence, professionalism and confidentiality.

Travel regularly within South Africa and occasionally into Africa.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in Internal Auditing, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Forensic Accounting or a related discipline.

Approximately 3 years’ experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk Management or Compliance.

Professional qualification such as CA(SA) or an Honours qualification in Internal Auditing or Forensic Accounting will be advantageous.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and report-writing skills.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Experience working with ERP systems (SYSPRO exposure will be beneficial).

Valid driver’s licence, own reliable transport and a valid passport.

Willingness to travel extensively.

Package & Remuneration
R360 000 – R450 000 CTC per annum
