Description:
Hire Resolve’s Client is currently looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their mining company based in Gauteng. You will be responsible for managing and optimising electrical infrastructure, engineering systems and utilities to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operations while maintaining compliance with statutory and engineering standards.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safe, reliable and compliant operation of electrical infrastructure and engineering systems.
• Manage and maintain medium voltage electrical installations, distribution networks and associated infrastructure.
• Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance activities to maximise equipment reliability and availability.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support for engineering projects, including the design, installation and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Monitor and optimise site utilities, including electricity, water and other essential services.
• Drive energy efficiency, sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate and support internal and external engineering audits and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Prepare technical reports, operational analyses and engineering documentation.
• Lead, mentor and develop engineering personnel while promoting a strong safety and performance culture.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• GCC Certificate (Electrical)
• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Trade Test, Installation Electrician or Master Electrician Certificate
• Minimum of 5 years practical experience in electrical protection systems, distribution, and system design, including Micro-grid operations, configuration, and networking
• Valid Driver’s License
