Introduction
In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing a custom Linux distribution tailored for vehicle diagnostic tools used by several of the world’s leading automotive manufacturers.

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and customize Linux distributions tailored to specific project requirements

Implement and integrate new features, packages and modules into the distribution

Ensure compatibility and interoperability with various hardware platforms and architectures

Conduct regression and integration testing and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and implement solutions

Desired Experience & Qualification
Basic Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.

Demonstrable knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming principles.

Demonstrable knowledge of electronics.

Skills:

Experience in Linux and an understanding of Linux internals, including kernel modules, bootloaders, and file systems would be very beneficial

Proficiency in C, C++, and scripting languages such as Bash and Python

Experience with cross-compilation and building embedded Linux systems would be beneficial

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git and CVS) and build systems such as CMake, Meson etc.

Knowledge in Robotframework would be a plus
