We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join a leading Hotel brand operator based in Bryanston.

Work from home position after probation with once a week office days.

Duties & Responsibilities
Financial reporting & analysis

Financial planning and analytics

General Ledger & reconciliation

Transaction management

Compliance & Tax

Audit support

Business partnering

Policy & procedure project

Key performance indicators (KPIs):

Accuracy of financial records and reports.

Adherence to month-end closing deadlines.

Reduction of errors in financial data.

Compliance with tax filing deadlines.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CIMA qualification would be advantageous.

Experience: Six year, post graduate experience in accounting, auditing or financial analysis.

Technical skills: Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Analytical skills: Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends.

Attributes: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Soft skills: Strong communication skills to present financial findings to non-financial stakeholders, conflict management as well as people management skills, and presentation skills. The individual will need to be a highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative and is a critical thinker.
