We’re expanding our team and looking for a Senior Network Cable Technician who takes pride in delivering clean, certified cabling installations and mentoring junior technicians.

What you’ll do:

• Install, terminate, and certify structured cabling systems (Cat 5E, Cat 6, Cat 6A) to BICSI/TIA‑568 standards
• Commission patch panels, floor boxes, trays, and containment systems
• Conduct cable certification and produce test reports using Fluke DSX or equivalent testers
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and ensure high‑quality workmanship
• Lead on‑site teams, plan daily tasks, and enforce quality standards
• Maintain accurate as‑built documentation (floor plans, rack elevations, cable schedules)
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and contractors for smooth handovers
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including working at heights and confined spaces

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years’ hands‑on experience in structured cabling (Cat 5E, Cat 6, Cat 6A)
• Proven competency in cable termination and certification testing
• Solid knowledge of TIA/EIA‑568 and ISO/IEC 11801 standards
• Fibre optic cabling experience (termination, splicing, OTDR testing) advantageous
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport (national travel required)
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing small teams on‑site
• BICSI Installer certification, datacenter experience, or exposure to PoE, CCTV, AV cabling a plus
