Job Description
Responsible for planning, organising, and overseeing metallurgical projects and mineral processing solutions to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and product quality. The role also supports operational development, business improvement initiatives, and cost management while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate metallurgical and mineral processing projects

Support operations development and metallurgical services

Assist with business improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance

Oversee and manage contractors working on metallurgical projects

Monitor and control project budgets and operational costs
-
Maintain high standards of product quality and process efficiency
-
Ensure compliance with SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Risk & Quality) standards
-
Demonstrate strong self-management and operational leadership
Minimum Requirements
-
BSc or BTech Degree (NQF Level 7) in Metallurgy
-
Minimum 6 years’ experience in mineral processing operations
-
At least 2 years’ supervisory experience
-
Valid Code B driver’s licence
