Job Description
A leading player in the paper and pulp industry is seeking a skilled and dedicated Millwright to join their high-performance manufacturing facility. ✅ Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Repairs: Perform advanced mechanical and electrical maintenance on tissue-making and converting machinery.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment failures quickly to minimize downtime and maximize production output.
- Installations: Assist with installation, commissioning, and testing of new plant equipment.
- Preventative Maintenance: Execute planned schedules and identify risks before breakdowns occur.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to strict health, safety, and environmental regulations.
🎓 Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Millwright: Trade Test Certificate (Section 13 or 26D).
- Industry Experience: Manufacturing or heavy industrial environment (experience in tissue/paper mills highly advantageous).
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic PLC fault-finding.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work shifts, handle call-outs, and perform under pressure during breakdowns.
