Provide technical support to production operations by optimizing processes, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring efficient machine performance. This role focuses on improving productivity, maintaining quality standards, and supporting engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist production teams with process optimization, troubleshooting, and machine efficiency.
• Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support engineering projects, including the implementation of new systems, tools, and process enhancements.
• Monitor production processes to maintain product quality, reduce scrap, and ensure equipment reliability.
• Manage technical resources and inventory, coordinating the purchase of equipment and materials.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, GMP practices, quality standards, and food safety systems.

Key Requirements

• Grade 12 plus a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 2–5 years’ relevant experience in engineering or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, raw materials, moulds, and downstream production equipment.
• Experience with extrusion blow moulding and mechanical fitting/turning (advantageous).
• Strong problem-solving, fault-finding, and technical analysis skills.
• Proficiency in communication, project coordination, administration, and relevant software tools.
