Job Description

MHR is currently recruiting experienced Confirmations Clerks to serve as Training Officers, providing implementation support for systems and processes during the Core Systems Replacement project. The purpose of this project is to train users on a new system that will replace AS400. * This opportunity is open to selected candidates with Mediclinic work experience within the last 4 years.

  • This is a 2-year contract opportunity, commencing on 1 July 2026 – 30 June 2028.
  • This is a hybrid role, requiring certain days at the Mediclinic Corporate Office in Stellenbosch and other days working remotely.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

  • Grade 12

DESIRED EDUCATION

  • Certificate in instructional design or training

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

  • 3 – 5 years’ work experience in a business processes environment within a hospital or healthcare setting, specifically in Confirmations

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Work experience in the Patient Administration environment
  • Background in the development of training material and facilitation

REQUIREMENTS, REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Valid driver’s licence (the role requires local travel and potentially travel to other provinces)
  • Relevant business process policies and procedures
  • Computer systems and software packages (e.g. Microsoft Office)
  • Formatting and styling of learning support material

Key Outputs

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide implementation support on systems and processes during the Core Systems Replacement project while ensuring effective knowledge transfer and user competence. Additionally, to develop and assess system and process learning support material and facilitate learning interventions.
