Job Description

Requirements

 

Grade 12 Certificate and a four-year Bachelor’s Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree in Geomatics / Land Surveying (NQF Level 7) recognised by SAQA, and Nyukela (SMS Pre-entry Certificate). Registered as a Professional Land Surveyor or Geomatics Professional with SAGC. Registered as a Sectional Titles Practitioner. Minimum 5 years’ experience at senior managerial level in land surveying environment. Valid driver’s licence.

Duties

 

Manage and oversee the research and development of cadastral surveys. Study world trends, legislative framework, compare with other systems, propose amendments. Research ways of improving cadastral practices in South Africa. Manage development towards amendment and streamlining of legislation. Coordinate tender specifications. Oversee provision of professional advisory and support services.
