Job Description

A well-established company is currently seeking a temporary Accounts Clerk / Creditors Administrator to assist the finance team during a maternity cover period.The successful candidate will be responsible for supplier reconciliations, capturing on Pastel, and processing weekly payments via Standard Bank. This role is suited to someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced finance environment.Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier reconciliations
  • Capturing invoices and finance data on Pastel
  • Processing weekly payments on Standard Bank
  • Assisting with general accounts payable and finance administration duties
  • Ensuring accurate record keeping and payment processing

Minimum Requirements

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Clerk, Creditors Clerk, or Accounts Payable role
  • BCom degree
  • Strong reconciliations experience
  • Experience working on Pastel
  • Exposure to payment processing and banking platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Available to start as soon as possible

Advantageous

  • Experience with Standard Bank Business Online
  • Previous exposure to high-volume creditors environments
