Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan work and equipment needs for lifting and moving tasks.
  • Perform rigging operations
  • Inspect and maintain lifting gear including cranes, hoists, and chain blocks.
  • Train engineering learners through on‑the‑job guidance.
  • Boost plant uptime and safety with maintenance and good housekeeping

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Rigger / Rigger Ropesman Trade Certificate
    Forklift and overhead crane license

EXPERIENCE

  • +2 years relevant experience
    Experience in a mining/chemical environment

SKILLS

  • Medically fit.
    Read, interpret and produce engineering drawings.
