The Huawei EBG Commercial Account Manager acts as a trusted client advocate, responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing the buyer experience, and strengthening strategic relationships across allocated reseller accounts. Huawei EBG Commercial Account Manager Job Duties and Responsibilities.
Sales & Revenue Growth
Drive gross profit and revenue targets through assigned reseller partners.
Promote and sell First Distribution’s Huawei product portfolio within the existing reseller base.
Identify, recruit, and onboard new resellers to expand channel reach.
Demonstrate strong product knowledge and effectively communicate brand programs across the portfolio.
Conduct regular business review sessions with brand managers and key stakeholders.
Lead bi-weekly sales performance reviews with the Line Manager.
Develop and execute targeted partner development and growth plans.
Facilitate sales strategy sessions and joint planning with resellers.
Oversee reseller onboarding, including operational, sales, and technical enablement.
Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams and reseller partners.
Ensure execution of agreed business plans in alignment with the Line Manager and Brand Managers.
Consistently drive sales growth and pipeline expansion.
Identify, qualify, and progress new opportunities to maintain a healthy pipeline and target coverage.
Maintain accurate and timely opportunity reporting in CRM systems.
Ensure achievement of sales and profit margin targets.
Track and ensure release of applicable brand rebates.
Adhere to defined call cycles and engagement plans.
Submit weekly activity reports, meeting minutes, sales forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.
Escalate deviations from targets with clear analysis and corrective action plans.
Forecast and track key account performance metrics.
Monitor customer usage trends and identify growth or optimisation opportunities.
Reseller Relationship Management
Collaborate with resellers and brand managers on marketing initiatives and campaigns.
Ensure timely distribution of newsletters, pricing updates, and promotional offerings.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive account records and documentation.
Develop and maintain strategic account plans for each allocated reseller.
Maintain deep understanding of stakeholders, budgets, procurement processes, and competitor activity within assigned accounts.
Manage and resolve queries, escalations, and service-related issues effectively

Requirements :
Grade 12
3-5 years of commercial sales account management or channel sales experience in the ICT Distribution.

This is a permanent position subject to a successful three-month probationary period.
