Emeris Online Centre has a vacancy for Student Recruitment Administrator (Undergraduate Distance)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Marketing Administration

  • Accurate capturing of prospective student information, appointments and  applications onto SIS and all applicable reports.
  • Assign leads and applications in the SIS daily as allocated by the Head of Student Recruitment.
  • Manually capturing leads where applicable, and linking of leads and applications.
  • Capturing all leads into the relevant campaigns.
  • Working co-operatively with the Head – Student Recruitment (Online) with respect to all database statistics for marketing reports i.e. (application trackers and all relevant sales reports).
  • Responsible for checking all marketing collateral including digital forms and factsheets.
  • Assisting Students Advisors with all database administration and associated correspondence.
  • Responsible for the integrity of data across all systems relating to the information for prospective students and applicants. Work closely with Sales Analyst to ensure reports balance and all information is accurately captured.

Funnel Administration

  • Ensuring the offer funnel report and sales trackers are updated with relevant applicant offer details
  • Follow up on active applications and outstanding application documents. Ensure the appropriate application documents are submitted in line with programme admission criteria.
  • Assist and support the Student Advisors to follow up on issued offers, expired offers and pre-registration payments.
  • Support Head – Student Recruitment (Online) to monitor the timeous issue of offers and admission approvals according to service level agreements.
  • Follow up on pending registration of student admission approved to register.

General Activities

  • Provide support as needed for planning of events such as open days and information evenings etc.
  • Calling to support the student recruitment team in peak periods, this includes database calling, as well as calling of appointments & applicants as required by the Head – Student Recruitment (Online) to support the Student Advisors.
  • Any ad hoc duties as stipulated from time-to-time by the Head – Student Recruitment (Online).

  • Organisational and administration skills
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of accuracy required in both typing and data capturing
  • Microsoft Office – with a focus on excel at an intermediate level
  • Problem Solving

Minimum Qualification Requirement:

  • Matric essential, relevant 3 year Diploma/Degree is recommended however not essential. 

Minimum Work Experience Requirement:

  • 1 – 2 years Administration experience. Sales experience advantageous
