Description
SSK currently has the following career opportunity at its Agriland, Fertiliser department in Humansdorp. The successful candidate, who will report to the Branch Manager, will assume full responsibility for administrative duties in the department.

Responsibilities

  • Branch transfer administration
  • Interdepartmental transactions
  • Direct orders, all goods receipts
  • Inventory control
  • General administrative duties and correspondence within and outside the relevant branch
  • Additional responsibilities include cashing up the cashier, handling the bank deposits and petty cash, as well as answering all incoming telephone calls and taking messages
  • The candidate will also be responsible for managing the branch’s SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) requirements
  • From time to time, the candidate may also be required to perform duties as a relief cashier and must therefore be willing to accept this responsibility.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) certificate, preferably with Accounting and/or Mathematics as subjects
  • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
  • Strong interpersonal, planning, organizational, and administrative skills
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Relevant administrative experience will strengthen your application
