Description:
Hire Resolve’s Client is currently looking for an experienced Mine Manager (Underground) to join their mining company in North-West. You will be responsible for leading underground mining operations to deliver safe, efficient and sustainable production while driving operational performance, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage underground mining operations to achieve safe, efficient and sustainable production.
– Develop and implement operational strategies, production plans and performance objectives aligned with business requirements.
– Drive compliance with applicable health, safety, environmental and mining legislation.
– Manage mining contractors, operational teams and resources to achieve production and business targets.
– Monitor and optimise production performance, equipment utilisation and operational efficiencies.
– Coordinate with technical and engineering teams to support effective mine planning and operational performance.
– Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, safety and cost effectiveness.
– Manage operational budgets, resources and business risks in line with organisational objectives.
– Develop and implement operational policies, procedures and governance standards.

Requirements:
– Grade 12
– Degree in Mining Engineering
– Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency
– Valid Blasting Certificate for Scheduled Mines
– Minimum 10 years’ experience within an underground mining environment
– Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Mine Manager
– Valid Driver’s License
