Job Description

– Salary: R605 742 – R713 535 per annum (Level 10), basic salary

– Locations and References:

• KwaZulu-Natal: Medium Office, Commercial Road – Ref No: HRMC 30/26/3a (X1 Post)

• KwaZulu-Natal: Medium Office, Tongaat – Ref No: HRMC 30/26/3b (X1 Post)

• Mpumalanga: Medium Office, Komatipoort – Ref No: HRMC 30/26/3c (X1 Post)

– Minimum Requirements:

• Undergraduate qualification in Public Management, Public Administration, Operations, Business Management, Management, Administration, Law, or Social Science at NQF Level 6 (SAQA recognized)

• 3 years’ supervisory experience in Operations within a client or customer services environment

• Advantage: Experience in Civic or Immigration Operations

– Knowledge:

• South African Constitution, public service and departmental legislative frameworks, government structures

• National Treasury Regulations, Public Finance Management Act, Human Resources Regulatory Framework, Occupational Health and Safety Act

• Workflow and capacity planning, Batho Pele Principles, MISS, PAJA, PAIA

– Skills and Competencies:

• Project management, optimization, online systems utilization

• Management and leadership, service delivery innovation, client orientation, customer focus

• People management and empowerment, financial management, programme and project management, change management

• Process and systems implementation, digital transformation support

• Excellent verbal/written communication and report writing

– Other:

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to work extended hours when required
