Main Responsibilities

• Network Security Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain secure network frameworks to protect the bank’s systems, data, and assets from unauthorized access, cyber threats, and attacks.
• Firewall & Intrusion Protection: Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and security appliances (IDS/IPS) to detect and block potential breaches.
• Threat Monitoring & Incident Response: Continuously monitor traffic for suspicious activity, vulnerabilities, and breaches, leading incident response to contain risks and minimize impact.
• Audits & Risk Assessments: Conduct regular security audits, penetration tests, and vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
• Security Tools & Automation: Leverage SIEM, firewall management systems, vulnerability scanners, and automation techniques to strengthen security posture and streamline response processes.

Job Requirements

Academic Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security.

Work Experience

• 3–5 years in network or IT security, ideally within banking or financial services.

Skills & Expertise

• Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP).
• Hands-on experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet), VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
• Proficiency with SIEM, vulnerability scanners (Nessus, Qualys), and penetration testing tools.
• Familiarity with cloud and hybrid security (AWS, Azure).
• Understanding of industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
