Job Description
Minimum Qualifications & Skills

Grade 12 (Matric)
-
Diploma in Mine Surveying or equivalent qualification
-
Advanced knowledge of mine survey software
-
Strong report writing and communication skills
-
Knowledge of statutory survey requirements and survey legislation
-
Highly computer literate
Required Experience
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience in mine surveying
-
Experience in underground mine surveying
-
At least 2 years working on a fully mechanised underground mining operation
Key Responsibilities
-
Capture and compile survey data and assist with drafting mine plans
-
Conduct End-of-Month (EOM) surveys and assist with reporting
-
Maintain and update survey equipment, software, and firmware
-
Manage and maintain accurate survey data control systems
-
Provide field survey support for exploration and project activities
Health, Safety & Compliance
-
Participate in daily safety briefings
-
Follow all company HSE policies and procedures
-
Report health and safety incidents immediately
-
Maintain good housekeeping standards in work areas
-
Implement corrective actions following HSE audits
-
Promote and enforce workplace safety standards
