Job Description

Requirements

 

LLB Degree or relevant equivalent qualification as recognized by SAQA. Two (2) years appropriate post qualification legal experience. Knowledge of Marine Living Resources Act, PAIA, POPIA, PAJA, and law of contract.

Duties

 

Process transfer of Fishing Rights applications in terms of section 21 of the MLRA. Conduct legal research. Draft legal advice, submissions, and reports for Minister and delegated authority.
