Job Description

Requirements

 

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or relevant qualification recognised by SAQA, plus three (3) years’ post qualification experience in hydraulic, environmental engineering and geotechnical engineering. Compulsory registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer. Valid Driver’s license.

Duties

 

Review risk assessment report and risk management plan in accordance with exclusion regulations. Develop National Threshold Inventory to inform quality of waste. Develop database of beneficial use of waste streams. Develop housekeeping standards for hazardous waste storage.
