Our client is seeking a highly experienced Software Developer to join their in-house development team in Rivonia. This permanent opportunity is suited to a seasoned developer who is equally comfortable maintaining existing business-critical systems and developing new solutions from detailed specifications. Applicants must be proficient in C++, C# and Python, with extensive commercial experience in all three languages.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and enhance software applications.

Perform developer testing on new and existing solutions.

Maintain and improve C# applications.

Maintain and enhance web server technologies and applications.

Design, maintain and optimise relational database structures.

Develop and maintain in-house tools and frameworks.

Create and implement data migration and data take-on scripts.

Provide technical analysis and support to internal teams.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum of 20 years’ software development experience.

Advanced proficiency in C++, C# and Python is essential.

Strong relational database design and SQL experience.

Solid database analysis skills.

Experience working with Microsoft and open-source technologies.

Ability to develop solutions from minimal but detailed specifications.

Advantageous Experience

PostgreSQL or Oracle.

Linux.

Software troubleshooting and problem solving.
