<p>GIZ is offering two full-time internship opportunities within the H2.SA II/BVC Programme, based at the GIZ Offices in Hatfield, Pretoria.</p>
<p>The programme supports the development of value chains for critical raw materials, green hydrogen and derivatives in South Africa. It is implemented by GIZ on behalf of the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), in close cooperation with the South African government.</p>
<p>This internship is designed for graduates who want practical exposure to an international cooperation programme working across research, coordination, stakeholder engagement, communication and project implementation.</p>
<p>Your focus will be shaped by your qualifications, skills and interests, as well as the needs of the project. You will also be supported by a dedicated mentor from the Green Hydrogen or Power-to-X Hub programmes implemented by GIZ.</p>

<p>This role forms part of the <strong>H2.SA II / BVC – Promoting a Green Hydrogen Economy in South Africa</strong> programme, implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and financed by the <strong>German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ)</strong> and the <strong>European Union</strong>.</p>
<p>The position will support provincial coordination, stakeholder engagement and project-enabling activities linked to the development of the green hydrogen and Power-to-X sector in the Northern Cape, including initiatives connected to the <strong>Boegoebaai Port Development</strong>, the <strong>Namakwa Special Economic Zone</strong> and the broader <strong>Three Capes Green Hydrogen Corridor</strong>.</p>

The park hosts several wildlife species, including an important population of Nile Lechwe, Ethiopia’s largest population of elephants, healthy lion populations, one of the most endangered giraffe populations in the world, and a shoebill population. Gambella also forms part of the white-eared kob migration between South Sudan and Ethiopia—the largest land mammal migration on earth, comprising around 6 million animals. &nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>JOB OVERVIEW:</strong></p>
<p>Under the supervision of the logistics manager, the storekeeper works in collaboration with the garage, transport, and housing teams. The storekeeper works under the operation department. His/her role is to manage and optimize the company&#8217;s inventory. He/she ensures daily management in order to avoid stock shortages as much as possible. He/she coordinates the storage according to the arrival and departure of products. He/she organizes the stock, follows the orders of the Spare parts, tools and fuel ordered, and makes sure that the stocks correspond to their true values.</p>
<p><strong>MAIN ROLES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Stock control and management</strong></p>

<li>Checking goods and ensuring all goods delivered are in good condition and reporting abnormalities where they exist;</li>
<li>Ensure a satisfactory rate of coverage of requests from maintenance departments (or other departments);</li>
<li>Regularly update stock management tools (stock sheet per item, receipt slips, issue slips);</li>
<li>Coordinate the storage of products, taking into account both the arrival and the deliveries to be made;</li>

<p><strong>What You Will Be Doing</strong></p>
<p>The Senior Technical Advisor: PYEI Interim Support will lead the development, planning and implementation of the overall support intervention to the PYEI, including the performance of underlying project processes.</p>
<p>In this role, you will support youth employment and related enabling interventions across the PYEI focus areas, including inclusive hiring, growth sectors, sustainable self-employment, the informal economy, demand-led skilling and outcomes-based funding.</p>

<p>GIZ South Africa is looking for a <strong>Cluster Communications Advisor</strong> for its <strong>TVET, Skills Development and Employment Promotion Cluster</strong>, based at the GIZ office in <strong>Hatfield, Pretoria</strong>. The position reports to the <strong>Cluster Coordinator</strong>, is offered at <strong>Salary Band 4T</strong>, and is a full-time fixed-term position until <strong>31 August 2028</strong>.</p>
<p>GIZ is an implementing agency working on behalf of the German Government and other commissioning parties in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. GIZ has been active in South Africa since 1995 and works with partner institutions to support the implementation of national development priorities.</p>
<p>The <strong>TVET, Skills Development and Employment Promotion Cluster</strong> works with government institutions, the private sector, training providers, development partners and civil society organisations to support skills development, employment promotion and inclusive economic development.</p>
<p>The cluster portfolio includes <strong>TVET system strengthening, youth employment promotion, labour market interventions, digital skills development, job creation, SMME support, private sector engagement</strong>, and skills development for a <strong>just and green transition</strong>.</p>
<p>The cluster currently implements several programmes and initiatives, including <strong>Career Path Development for Employment</strong>, <strong>Digital Skills for Jobs and Income</strong>, <strong>Support to the Presidential Youth Employment Initiative</strong>, and other initiatives in the field of skills development and employment promotion.</p>
<p>This role will suit a strong communications professional who can translate complex programme work, policy processes, development results and lessons learned into clear, accessible and high-impact communication products. <p><strong>What We Need From You</strong></p>

<li>Produce write-ups for each application and recommend next steps for the applicant to the Director of Enrollment Management.</li>

<li>Lead the planning and execution of finalist activities, including interviews, written assessments, and finalist day activities, in collaboration with the Director of Enrollment Management, ensuring a seamless and effective selection process.</li>

<li>Support admitted students and their families with visa documentation and financial aid explanations, ensuring a seamless transition from admissions to student life.</li>

<p>Develop and execute strategic initiatives aimed at increasing the visibility and attractiveness of ALA within the region, targeting key outcomes such as growth in application numbers and enrollments.</p>

<p>Monitor and adapt strategies based on regional trends and feedback to ensure the effectiveness of ALA’s outreach and engagement efforts to fulfill enrollment goals.</p>

<p><strong>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND SELECTION CRITERIA</strong></p>
<p><strong>Required Education and Experience:&nbsp;<br /></strong></p>

<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree.</li>
<li>Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in admissions, recruitment, sales, and marketing.</li>
<li>Excellent working knowledge of educational programs.</li>
