Key Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• +4 years experience specialising in Fire
• Must have consulting engineering experience
• Experience in building projects such as hospitals, hotels and offices.
• Professionally registered with ECSA
• Experience in the design of fire systems and to ensure that the design complies with Regulations, Codes of Practice, statutory requirements,
  including NFPA, BS, SANS and ASIB
• Apply engineering calculations for automatic sprinklers, smoke detection, evacuation systems,
  smoke ventilation, hydraulic design, gas suppression

• To be considered for our EIT programme in 2027, the student should be able to provide proof of successful completion of:
