Data and Administration

• Analysing data quality entered onto Software System and ensure any potential errors are corrected.
• Ensure Routing data supplied aligns with the overall objective of the Offtaker.
• Assist the mines reception team to validate the truck data for final registration.
• Follow up and Validate all Truck and Rail Manifest on the company’s Software System, ensuring all data inserted is correct and aligns with the companies SOP.
• Follow up and Validate all Port Warehouse Proof of Deliveries on the company’s Software System, ensuring all data inserted is correct and aligns with the companies SOP.

Communication

• Provide daily data relating to LSP Failures (exceeding of daily arrivals, incorrect data captured) and details of the number of trucks Loading / convoyed to the mine, putting on record in case of later disputes.
• Build and maintain relationships with all LSP’s and the Outbound Logistics Loading Team at the Mine.
• Keep all Stakeholders informed in writing of any issues arising.
• Communicate between all parties, including but not limited to, the Mine, Ivanhoe Marketing / Trading and LSP’s and their Site Representatives.
• Capture all Comments inserted under the “Diary of Events” ensuring clear understanding for all stakeholders in event of queries being raise.

• Retain and grow the current book of Business and record client information
• Support credit control in the management of the clients credit application
• Client Servicing
• Report on Servicing Activities

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all tyre repairs, replacements, and maintenance on trucks and trailers

• Monitor tyre wear patterns and identify abnormal wear causes

• Ensure correct tyre pressures are maintained daily

• Plan tyre rotations and manage casing usage

• Coordinate breakdown callouts and roadside tyre assistance

• Ensure all tyres comply with legal and safety requirements

• Supervise tyre fitters and workshop assistants

• Allocate daily tasks and monitor productivity

• Ensure all work is completed safely and on time

• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce workshop discipline

• Train staff in proper tyre handling procedures

• Conduct regular tyre inspections on trucks, trailers, LDVs, and earthmoving equipment

• Record tread depths and tyre conditions

• Identify sidewall damage, uneven wear, heat damage, rim and bearing issues

• Maintain tyre history and performance records

• Complete daily workshop and breakdown reports

• Manage tyre inventory including tyres, casings, tubes, flaps, valves, and rims

• Conduct stock counts and prevent theft or wastage

• Track tyre cost per kilometre

• Assist with budgeting and purchasing

• Enforce PPE usage and company safety standards

• Ensure all equipment is safe and maintained

• Investigate tyre failures and safety incidents

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in commercial truck tyre management

• Minimum 2 years’ leadership and supervisory experience

• Strong knowledge of tyre brands, applications, and wear analysis

• Computer literate with experience using Excel and workshop systems

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to work under pressure and after hours

• Experience working with heavy vehicles and equipment

• Willingness to travel to depots for inspections and audits
