<p>Ivanhoe Marketing is a newly established Commodity marketing, Sales and Logistics entity within the Ivanhoe Group of Companies.</p>
<p>To coordinate, control and monitor daily logistics operations, ensuring all shipments are planned, executed, and tracked in line with operational requirements and service level expectations.</p>
<p><strong>Experience required:<br /></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum Qualification &#8211; National Senior Certificate (matric) and relevant qualification advantageous</li>
<li>A proven track record of success.</li>
<li>Overborder Road Freight knowledge is essential with knowledge of Commodity Movements being an advantage.</li>
<li>Knowledge of truck sizes and load capacity</li>
<li>Good computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel</li>

<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:<br /></strong><strong><u><br /></u></strong><em><strong>Daily logistics operations&nbsp;</strong><br /></em></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage the pre-advice of all trucks being captured onto the Software System, including the upkeep of the arrival dates on the system and identify any redundant data.</li>
<li>Plan movements of Empty trucks being sent to the mine in the evening Convoy.</li>
<li>Manage all Logistics relating to the movement of cargo by Rail, Rail planning, including the shunting of cargo to the Rail Terminal, and Stock held at the Rail Terminal.</li>
<li>Ensure LSP volumes are monitored against their committed tonnages and follow up on any potential failings of LSP’s.</li>
<li>Monitor the arrivals per LSP, ensuring that the LSP split there allocation equally throughout the month.</li>
<li>Manage the number of Loaded trucks per location, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety, moving any excess number of trucks at the Mine to one of the contracted Parking yards.</li>
<li>Identify risks, delays, or underperformance and intervene</li>
<li>Ensure overall logistics flow meets service level expectations</li>
</ul>
<p><em><strong>Data and Administration</strong></em></p>
<ul>
<li>Analysing data quality entered onto Software System and ensure any potential errors are corrected.</li>
<li>Ensure Routing data supplied aligns with the overall objective of the Offtaker.</li>
<li>Assist the mines reception team to validate the truck data for final registration.</li>
<li>Follow up and Validate all Truck and Rail Manifest on the company’s Software System, ensuring all data inserted is correct and aligns with the companies SOP.</li>
<li>Follow up and Validate all Port Warehouse Proof of Deliveries on the company’s Software System, ensuring all data inserted is correct and aligns with the companies SOP.</li>
</ul>
<p><em><strong>Communication</strong></em></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide daily data relating to LSP Failures (exceeding of daily arrivals, incorrect data captured) and details of the number of trucks Loading / convoyed to the mine, putting on record in case of later disputes.</li>
<li>Build and maintain relationships with all LSP’s and the Outbound Logistics Loading Team at the Mine.</li>
<li>Keep all Stakeholders informed in writing of any issues arising.</li>
<li>Communicate between all parties, including but not limited to, the Mine, Ivanhoe Marketing / Trading and LSP’s and their Site Representatives.</li>
<li>Capture all Comments inserted under the “Diary of Events” ensuring clear understanding for all stakeholders in event of queries being raise.</li>
<li>Assist and support colleagues, fostering a collaborative and cooperative team culture.</li>

<li>Identify inefficiencies in warehouse operations and implement improvements.</li>
<li>Confirm that all cargo is correctly documented and matched against dispatch instructions prior to departure.</li>

<p><em><strong><u>Tracking and monitoring of all Vehicles</u></strong></em></p>

<li>Monitor and track all vehicles transporting cargo between Loading Point, transit warehouses till point of delivery as Port Warehouse.</li>
<li>Follow up proactively on delayed vehicles and investigate deviations from standard transit times.</li>
<li>Close off tracking on the Software system, once confirmed receipted into Port warehouse.</li>
<li>Ensure all vehicle tracking data is accurately captured and updated in the system.</li>
<li>Close off tracking activities once stock is confirmed received at destination warehouses according to process.</li>

<p><em><strong><u>Data Analysis and Reporting</u></strong></em></p>

<li>On time reporting of all Stock Levels, including Stock in Receiving and dispatch Holding areas.</li>
<li>Analyse all data on the company’s Inhouse Software system for accuracy.</li>
<li>Ensure warehouses record all stock received against the correct Buyer.</li>
<li>Support the optimization and continuous improvement of the in-house system.</li>

<p>Overall responsibilities include:</p>

<li>Provide input to Air and Ocean Procurement for product development.</li>
<li>Plan and carry out ISV’s (International Sales Visit’s) locally and abroad.</li>
<li>Plan and carry out CSTs (Consignee Selling Trips) abroad when needed.</li>
<li>Receive and coordinate incoming CSTs.</li>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>

<li>Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily concrete mixer truck dispatch activities.</li>
<li>Allocate vehicles to delivery orders based on product specifications, delivery windows, site accessibility, and traffic conditions.</li>

<li>At least 3 years’ experience supervising a fleet of 10 or more heavy motor vehicles in a high-volume operational environment.</li>
<li>Experience within ready-mix concrete, construction logistics, bulk transport, or similar industries will be advantageous.</li>
<li>National Diploma in Logistics, Transport Management, Operations Management, or related qualification.</li>
<li>Experience using Transport Management Systems (TMS) and GPS fleet tracking platforms.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of AARTO regulations, National Road Traffic legislation, fleet compliance requirements, and driver fitness standards.</li>

<li>Investigate stock variances, shrinkage, and discrepancies across DC and production operations.</li>
<li>Conduct detailed investigations into theft, fraud, and misconduct, including potential collusion between employees and management.</li>
