<li>Review existing processes and suggest innovative ideas to improve and streamline processes to drive efficiencies and minimise redundancy.</li>
<li>Ensure the development, alignment, mapping and implementation of end-to-end standard operating procedures / processes.</li>
<li>Ensure efficient management Reception, Admissions, Case Management and Billing Auditing departments.</li>
<li>Ensure revenue and collections targets are achieved by effectively the department.</li>
<li>Monitor and ensure WIP (Work-in-Progress) is within the agreed upon periods.</li>
<li>Ensure overall rejections are within the acceptable threshold.</li>
<li>Review, audit and sign off on all consignments to ensure accuracy of billing and minimisation capital loss.</li>
<li>Conduct daily EOC (End of Case) reconciliation to ensure billings are done within the allotted timeframes per funder standards.</li>
<li>Ensure case managers follow proper coding protocols to reduce rejection rates.</li>
<li>Ensure case managers maintain an up-to-date register of length of stay and update the funders regularly to ensure all services rendered are paid for.</li>
<li>Develop and implement admissions process and protocols and ensure the adherence of all admissions staff to maintain standards.</li>
<li>Ensure that all files requested and utilised are in accordance with CHG standards.</li>
<li>Review services (together with relevant stakeholders) on SAP to ensure optimisation of billings of services</li>
<li>Analyse data trends relating to rejections and short payments.</li>
<li>Lead and drive the accurate and business billing process to ensure Patient Services metric targets are achieved.</li>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>

<li>Assess patients’ functional participation and develop, implement, and monitor individualised occupational therapy treatment plans to improve independence and rehabilitation outcomes.</li>
<li>Deliver interventions including ADL retraining, neurorehabilitation, cognitive rehabilitation, upper limb rehabilitation, splinting, wheelchair seating, vocational rehabilitation, and the prescription of assistive devices and equipment.</li>
<li>Conduct home and workplace assessments, provide caregiver and patient education, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on patient-centred goals, and maintain accurate clinical documentation and billing records.</li>

<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Oversee quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with SANAS, ISO 15189, and relevant laboratory standards</li>
<li>Review and sign off laboratory results across clinical pathology sectors</li>
<li>Monitor laboratory turnaround times, quality control processes, and assay validations</li>
<li>Support and advise clinicians on patient management and diagnostic findings</li>
<li>Manage and monitor laboratory equipment planning and implementation</li>
<li>Oversee SOP implementation and compliance with the Quality Management System</li>
<li>Handle clinician queries and provide technical laboratory support</li>
<li>Monitor laboratory trends, wastage, and operational performance statistics</li>
<li>Support clinical trials, protocol implementation, and laboratory training initiatives</li>
<li>Assist with staff screening, assessments, and laboratory operational support</li>
<li>Participate in meetings, workshops, conferences, and relevant training sessions</li>
<li>Provide support to satellite/stat laboratories and assist with quality monitoring processes</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>FC Path qualification in Clinical Pathology or Chemical Pathology</li>
<li>Registered with the HPCSA as a Clinical Pathologist or Chemical Pathologist</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience within a pathology or laboratory environment</li>
<li>Strong laboratory diagnostic and analytical skills</li>
<li>Experience with quality assurance systems and laboratory compliance standards</li>
<li>Proficient in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)</li>
<li>Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills</li>
<li>Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities</li>
<li>Ability to work in a high-pressure laboratory environment</li>

<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<p> • B.Pharm qualification.<br />  • Master’s degree in Clinical Pharmacy or an equivalent/higher qualification as assessed by the Council.<br />  • Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council.<br />  • Minimum of three to five years’ professional experience as a Clinical Pharmacist.<br />  • Proven experience in managing an Antimicrobial Stewardship Programme.<br />  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant pharmaceutical legislation and clinical practices.<br />  • Completion of Antimicrobial Stewardship and Infection Prevention and Control-related courses.<br />  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.<br />  • Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, adaptability, and the ability to function effectively under pressure.<br />  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills with a solution-oriented approach.</p>
